General Assembly Academy

General Assembly Academy day school is operated especially for the children whose parents are members of General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. But, non-member families are also enrolled as space is available. The two home school programs are open enrollment and available to assist any family who desires help. The policies of the Academy are determined by the Pastor and Elders of the local congregation. General Assembly Academy operates legally in the state of Tennessee as a category IV church-related school by virtue of its membership in TANAS (Tennessee Association of Non-public Academic Schools), T.C.A. 49-50-801.

The academy provides parental assistance through three main programs: its day school, choice home school program, and class home school program. The academy provides assistance through the following: a classical course of studies, a proven teaching methodology of "teaching through the trivium" of the grammar, logic, and rhetoric stages of development, processing the input and ouput of infomation through the unique learning style of the individual student all from the perspective of a Biblical world view.
