From the giant Grizzly Bear to the tiny African Dik Dik, the Museum gives visitors a chance to see close up one of the largest collections in the United States. Exhibits also explore local history, including the questions surrounding the death of Meriwether Lewis. An outdoor Discovery Center trail is under construction. 2009 marks the 200th anniversary of the death and burial of Meriwether Lewis just eight miles east of Hohenwald.
