Buffalo River Canoeing and Campground

Canoe rentals are available to take a leisurely float down one of the last unspoiled rivers in the Southeast. Trips are 6 or 11 miles. Shuttle services provided. There is a directions link on the website for your use.

The campground, for tent camping and small pop up campers, is located at the end of a hidden valley, bordered on one side by the beautiful Buffalo River, and along the other side flows a quiet stream, that children love to play in. Each campsite is on the river, in shade with tables, charcoal grills and firepits. There are facilities for groups from 2 to 200 people, along with a private campground for churches, Boy Scouts and large family groups. In keeping with our family atmosphere, they ask that there is no alcohol on the campground. There is a bathhouse with hot showers, a little camp store and an open-air chapel for those that choose to use it. For more information call l-800-339-5596.
