Dutchtown Farms Alpacas and Tennessee Walking Horses

Dutchtown Farms is Lewis County's first alpaca farm. We have owned alpacas since 2001. Dutchtown Farms offers alpacas, llamas, Tennessee Walking horses, Tennessee Fainting goats and guinea hens. We also have a gift shop where you can browse and purchase genuine alpaca fiber items such as hats, sweaters, gloves, yarn, socks, handbags, scarves, ponchos and spinning fiber. Additionally we have a wide assortment of equine, farm and western novelties including many children's items. Farm visits are welcome and we enjoy showing off our livestock and answering questions. Appointments are necessary and there is a $3.00 per person admission charge. Visit Dutchtown Farms for an enjoyable farm experience in a beautiful setting. Don't forget to bring your camera. In April we hold our annual shearing day event which is very popular. In October, we do a Pumpkin Patch with guided tour hayrides, scarecrow building, games,giant sandbox with clean white sand, calf roping and other fun activities. There is a $5.00 charge for this event and everyone receives a full sized pumpkin. We welcome school and organization trips as well as families and individuals. Pumpkin Patch is open September 29th thru October 31st daily. We are closed on Sundays. There is plenty of free parking for cars and buses. Call us for details at (931) 796-4071. Dutchtown Farms is located minutes from Hohenwald. Take Route 412 West and turn onto Darbytown Road. At the fork bear left onto Goodman Branch Road.
